Thriving Not Striving

Calling all African and Black Heritage students! A group of postgraduate students at the University of Exeter is organizing a two-day event exclusively for you on the Streatham campus. Day 1, 25th April: A workshop at the Deck Day 2, 26th April: Networking and social event at the Creative Quadrant As a group of Black and African heritage students, we aim to bring together students from within the Black and African heritage student community at the University of Exeter. The event aims to serve as a platform to discuss the various challenges that we face while adjusting to new systems, lifestyles, and separation from family, among others. By sharing our experiences, we hope to identify solutions together as people from similar backgrounds who face/have faced similar challenges. Join us on the 25th of April at the Deck and on the 26th of April at the Creative Quadrant to connect with other successful black people in academia and other professional spaces. Together, we can explore opportunities that can help us thrive in our academic and professional capacities.
