About

This campaign meeting is open to anyone at the University who is interested in finding out about the Shell Out campaign. The campaign was started by students to raise awareness about the climate impacts of the multinational oil and gas company and the controversial University partnership with them on a carbon capture project. The campaign aims to advocate for a collaborative approach to how the university decides who to partner with, that takes into account moral and ethical issues. The meeting will provide a brief introduction to the campaign, discussion on the next steps, and notice of ways to get involved with the Guild and other climate action and sustainability initiatives.
