Join us for our first public transport walks this year! You'll take a bus to Killerton from which you'll venture through the Exe Valley either to Exeter (Walk A) or back to Killerton (Walk B).
Lengths and ratings:
Walk A (Killerton to Exeter): distance-10 miles (moderate), terrain-moderate (may be very muddy, wear suitable strong footwear)
Walk B (Killerton Circular): distance-6.0 miles (mild), terrain-moderate (may be very muddy, wear suitable strong footwear)
Bus Times:
For Walk A (Killerton to Exeter), be at Exeter Bus Station for 09:00, to catch the 09:10 bus
For Walk B (Killerton Circular), be at Exeter Bus Station for 10:00, to catch the 10:10 bus
Bus tickets are not included in the ticket price! Both walks will require a £2 bus to Killerton, and Walk B will take an additional £2 bus to return to Exeter.
We aim to return to Exeter by 18:30.
Before the walk:
Make sure to bring a packed lunch and at least 2 bottles of water, we are unable to stop en-route for food or other supplies.
Remember to wear strong, sturdy hiking boots or shoes. A waterproof layer and sunscreen is also recommended, as well as an extra sweater or hat for warmth.
If you have any medical conditions incl. severe allergies please let our president Jake know, and bring any medication which you may need.
