Week 3: Christow to Bridford

Join us for our first bus walk of Term 3 in North-East Dartmoor! Starting in Christow, we'll take you on an 8.5 mile hike past the Tottiford, Trenchford and Kennick reservoirs ending up in the village of Bridford. Lengths and ratings: Walk A: distance-8.5 miles (moderate), terrain-moderate Please arrive at Sidwell St. Stop 40 for the following times (this week bus tickets are not included, you'll buy them on the bus): - For Walk A, arrive to the bus stop for 08:15 to catch the 08:25 bus We aim to return to Exeter by 18:30. Before the walk: Make sure to bring a packed lunch and at least 2 bottles of water, we are unable to stop en-route for food or other supplies. Remember to wear strong, sturdy hiking boots or shoes. A waterproof layer and sunscreen is also recommended, as well as an extra sweater or hat for warmth. If you have any medical conditions incl. severe allergies please let our president Jake know, and bring any medication which you may need.
