Week 11: OODS Okehampton Christmas Special!

Join us for our annual Christmas Special to Okehampton on the northern edge of Dartmoor! We'll be doing an 8 mile circular hike from the Okehampton train station, with time at the end to enjoy a three-course christmas lunch at the Fountain Inn! The ticket includes the cost of the meal, additionally please purchase a return train ticket as detailed below. Lengths and ratings: Walk X: distance-8 miles (moderate), terrain-moderate (Dartmoor) Please purchase an off-peak day return between Exeter St. Davids and Okehampton, for the following time: - For Walk X the 09:39 train, arrive to the station for 09:30 We aim to return to Exeter by 18:30. Before the walk: Make sure to bring a snack and at least 2 bottles of water, we are unable to stop en-route for food or other supplies. Remember to wear strong, sturdy hiking boots or shoes. A waterproof layer and sunscreen is also recommended, as well as an extra sweater or hat for warmth.
