The BIGGEST date in every UWE Students' calendar is here 🥳 That's right, the UWE Summer Ball 2023 is here and we cannot wait to show you what's in store!🤩 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭: 🕺 1500 UWE Students 🍻 Various bars for you to choose from 🍷 Dedicated cocktail and wine bar 💥 Live Acts performing on our Main Stage and inside one of the castles turrets 🎳 Loads of Games & Activities for you to take part in 🍔 Variety of street food traders available for you to enjoy from day into evening 🪩 After Party included within your ticket 👯‍♀️ You can bring one non-UWE guest, as long as it’s a UWE student purchasing the ticket for them, and they will need to arrive at the venue with you 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞: Black Tie Optional / Smart Casual 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟖𝐬 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 | 𝐍𝐨 𝐈𝐃 𝐍𝐨 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 FAQ:   WHAT IS THE SUMMER BALL?   The UWE Bristol Summer Ball is the end of year party organised by Dazed Events, Propaganda, and Sounds & Silences on behalf of The Students’ Union at UWE. It is running from 2pm - 10pm with several stages of music, entertainment, food stalls, bars and activities throughout the day. The event is only open only to UWE students plus their guests!   CAN I BRING NON-STUDENT FRIENDS OR FRIENDS FROM OTHER UNIVERSITIES?   YES! You can bring one non-UWE guest, as long as it’s a UWE student purchasing the ticket for them, and they will need to arrive at the venue with you.   HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS?   Tickets are starting from £35 but will rise in ticket tiers so it’s best to secure yours as soon as possible! All tickets must be purchased in advance.   Q) IS THERE DISABLED ACCESS? A) Yes! We really want everyone attending to have the most enjoyable time possible. If you have any accessibility needs, please get in touch with the SU to organise this. suevents@uwe.ac.uk WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?   If you are no longer able to attend then please get in touch via suevents@uwe.ac.uk explaining your situation and we will look into it for you!   DO I HAVE TO BE OVER 18 TO ATTEND?   This is an 18+ event so you will need to bring your ID   CAN I BRING ALCOHOL?   You cannot bring alcohol but there will be alcohol sold at the event. There will be a main bar serving a variety of beverages, an inner bar within the castle, and a wine/cocktail bar.   WILL THERE BE FOOD AT THE EVENT?   Food will be available to purchase from a variety of street food traders for you to enjoy from day into evening. Q) IS THERE AN AFTER PARTY? A) Yes! And if you have a ticket to the Summer Ball you can go to the after party for free! More information to be released soon.
