Treasure Hunt in Mincinglake Valley Park!

Bring your friends and flat/housemates along to a treasure hunt around one of Exeter's most scenic parks: Mincinglake Valley Park! It will be a treasure hunt like you've never seen before, using What3Words. This sounds interesting, what will it involve? At each location, there will be a sign directing you to 2 different 3x3m locations, where you will find a sign with another 2 locations and so on. Chose wisely as some locations will take you closer to the treasure and the other might take you further away or to a location you've visited before. The only exception is the penultimate location, where a quick puzzle will reveal the words of 1 last location where the treasure will be. You do must not cross any roads, however it could be a bit muddy if it has rained recently so bring walking boots/shoes if you have them. Groups will be decided at the start location when everyone has arrived. Make sure you bring enough water as it's a big park and feel free to bring snacks! It might be a good idea for you to download What3Words and to have a full battery! When I get to the park where will we meet? The start location is Spine.Easy.Rivers and please arrive at 14:30. We will also be doing a walking bus from Forum Piazza on Stocker Road to Mincinglake Valley Park (1.9 miles), leaving at 13:40, and a walking bus back to campus (1.2 miles) after the event. How much walking should I expect? In addition to the walking bus, expect to do around 2-3 miles extra, however, if you do the shortest route to the treasure, it will be lower! We will always have at least one committee member at the start location, with extra water. Do I have to be a member yet to come? Definitely not!! However, members receive the weekly emails and updates as well as a big discount on the coach walks! We look forward to meeting you!
