The Inaugural: The Importance of Discourse in the Modern Day

The Inaugural is a special event in the Hist's yearly calendar. The Auditor of the Session sets the topic for the Inaugural, and invites a panel of guests who will give speeches on the topic alongside the Auditor themself. Medals are also awarded to students at the Inaugural that they may have earned during the Session or the preceding one from participating in competitions or achieving a high standard in oratory returns.
