THE BREAKS are one of South West London’s finest covers band, playing in many pubs and (rugby) clubs. They are bringing a set of some of the greatest songs from one of the best eras of rock music. They are a 5-piece band – Chips is a fantastic front man, Thommo is the ace of the bass, Riza giving it all behind the drums, Flyssie a superb lead guitarist and Chas alternating between rhythm guitar, synth and Hammond organ. Mark Ellen, the Old Grey Whistler, editor of Q Magazine and podcaster said ‘what a terrific band, all effortlessly good players and armed with such an immaculate setlist.’ They’ll be playing best of the Killers, Muse, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Weller and The Jam, Blondie, REM, Black Keys, the Foos plus many others. It’s a high energy set that is guaranteed to get you leaping round the dance floor, like you are back in the Hacienda….
