The Art of Art Advisory and Investment: A talk with The Fine Art Group's CEO and Founder, Philip Hoffman - DECEMBER 13th at 6PM at the Courtauld Institute of Art in Vernon Square. We are honoured to welcome Philip Hoffman, CEO and Founder of the Fine Art Group, for a talk with the Business of Art Society. The Fine Art Group was founded in 2001 by Philip Hoffman as the first company to successfully launch a series of 8 art investment funds. Since then, it has developed into an international leader in the art world, offering art investment, art finance, sales agency, philanthropy, and advisory services to clients worldwide. Mr Hoffman spent 12 years working for Christie’s Auction House, where he was made CFO at age 27 and joined the Global Christie’s Management Board at age 33. Mr Hoffman is regularly asked to comment on the art market by the international press having past appeared on CNN, BBC, The New York Times, Bloomberg, Thomsen Reuters, The Art Newspaper, and The FiAs. Additionally, he is a frequent speaker at global conferences including the Milken Institute, The London Business School, Credit Suisse, and Morgan Stanley. Philip also sits on the Development Boards for The National Portrait Gallery, London, and CW+, the charity for the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
