This will be the first in a series of documentary films shown in Trinity, regarding the Ecology and Geology of South America, with a focus on Colombia.
The Film: Tacarcuna
At the top of the Darien Mountain range, the hill of Tacarcuna is the place where species from Central and South America travel through. There, a group of scientists, using the support of the ancestral knowledge of its inhabitants to understand a unique biodiversity.
A collaboration between the Colombian Embassy to Ireland, School of Natural Sciences, Botany Discipline, Trinity Sustainability and the Environmental Society. The documentary will be introduced by the Colombian embassy. Refreshments will be provided from 17:30.
