Continuing on from a busy start to the year with the likes of Sammy Virji, Friend Within, Tuff Culture, MPH and Burt Cope, we are proud to be bringing Higgo back to Oxford along with Oppidan. These two are sensational young producers in the scene, both with a backlog of upcoming tunes to be released this year. ———————— Higgo ———————— 2020 was Higgo’s first major year in his rise as a UK producer and DJ. After quickly climbing the ranks within the UKG scene, the spotlight is now firmly set on the London-based producer after he won a live remix competition hosted by Disclosure. Higgo’s winning track, a remix of Disclosure’s ‘Restless', went on to gain support on Radio 1 from the pair themselves. Higgo’s latest single, ‘Crush’ (Spinnin’ Records), is continuing to cement his reputation as a skilled producer, taking his fresh Garage sound to a global audience. Earlier last year, Higgo dropped his 2021 launch single, ‘Sleeping Alone’ feat. Poppy Baskcomb, on Relentless Records’ new label 21NHG, which also received heavy rotation across Radio 1. When remixing, Higgo has swiftly established himself as one of the best remixers around, racking up an impressive list of credits: DJ S.K.T feat. Darla Jade, and many more. ——————— Oppidan ——————— Oppidan is one of our most exciting bookings to date. Her tunes are guaranteed to get you jumping. Undoubtedly one of the fastest rising names in UK Garage, Oppidan has made a name for herself with her distinctive production style blending 2-step with 4x4 NUKG and bass influences. At this relatively early stage of her career, she has releases on Night Bass, 24 Garage Girls and Kiwi Rekords, including a remix of Sammy Virji’s hit ‘Shapes’.
