Screening of Marcel the Shell with Shoes On at the Campus Cinema (8:30pm)

This delightful independent stop- motion animation film premiered last year to overwhelming praise at the Telluride Film Festival - subsequently picked up by film distributors A24, the film was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Featuring a lead voice performance by Jenny Slate, the film follows the adventures of Marcel, a tiny, one-eyed shell who, equipped with a pair of miniature shoes, takes us on a heart- warming journey through his daily adventures around his home. Based on Camp and Slate’s original viral short films of the same name, Marcel’s charm and wit leaves audience members with a renewed appreciation for the small things in life.
