About

Come along to our first event of SOS or β€˜Save Our Seas’, a series of speaker events aiming to increase awareness and educate us on contemporary issues facing Ocean Ecosystems and their solutions! Whether you are an ocean lover, passionate environmentalist or someone pursuing their dream career in the sector, there is definitely something for you to take away! More about the guest speaker: Founder Francesca Trotman will be visiting us to give a talk about how @lovetheoceans is aiming to make lasting change in an understudied area of Mozambique (Jangamo Bay). It is a non-profit marine conservation organisation with the mission of protecting the diverse local marine life (including sharks, rays, humpback whales), using research, education and diving to secure a sustainable future. β€œOur ultimate goal is to support the community in establishing a Marine Protected Area for the Inhambane Province in Mozambique, achieving higher biodiversity whilst protecting endangered species.” We hope to see you there and don’t forget to stick around for Q&A and discussion time!:)
