Rita's Bonkers Bingo!!

Tingewick Firm ’22 present … Rita’s Bonkers Bingo!!! Let me set the scene: it’s a cold Thursday in November. You’ve just finished a long, dull day on the wards/ the MSTC lecture theatre* and now you’re trudging home for another essay crisis or hours of aimlessly clicking through PassMed. God, you think. I’d kill for a game of bingo right now. I cannot imagine how entertained I’d be if said game of bingo were interspersed with crazy challenges and games. I’d sell my left kidney for the opportunity to do a tequila shot**, be blindfolded and span around several times, and then have to speed-run a cardiovascular examination. I’d weep with literal happiness if there were over 30 exciting prizes up for grabs such as a tarot reading, a half-pack of condoms or even a completed children’s sticker book! WELL … you are in luck! Come on down to Tingewick Hall for Rita’s Bonkers Bingo, which the eagle-eyed amongst you will notice is an event based on some very popular bingo/disco/games-based club nights throughout the country. There’ll be 3 games of bingo, a bar, music, and ridiculous games and challenges throughout the evening that you can volunteer for and primary school disco vibes throughout. All in aid of our two fantastic charities – Oxford Hospitals Charity and Helen and Douglas House. DETAILS: Thursday 17th November, doors open 7:30 for an 8pm start (SHARP!) Tingewick Hall (Academic Centre @ John Radcliffe Hospital) Tickets £5 Dresscode: primary school disco (there’ll be a prize for the best outfit!) *Exclusion of ‘day of lab med lectures’ was deliberate here, because lab med is never dull.
