Queer Get Down - Valentine's

Roses are red, violets are blue, the Queer Get Down is the perfect place for me and you 💞💘 Join us on Monday 12th for what will be a night that will have your heart racing 💞💘 As always, we welcome all students in the city of Cambridge: regulars and newbies! Proceeds will be used to fund future QGD events, and LGBTQ+ charities. ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION: - Gender-neutral bathrooms will be available during the night - Security checks at the door: We’ve worked with MASH to ensure that the students are able to be searched by security staff that they feel comfortable being searched by regardless of gender. - Wheelchair access: The event will be wheelchair accessible with a disabled toilet and wheelchair lift with a capacity of 800kg available. There are single steps/level changes between the bar and dance floor. To address this, table service in the VIP area will be provided. If you require this, please do message us on Instagram (@thequeergetdown) or email [email protected] so that we can ensure that this is provided for you! - Seating area: With the exception of one VIP booth, the seating area is open to everyone for the whole night - There isn't a hearing loop, or a BSL interpreter available during the night - Strobe lighting - there will be strobe lighting during the night - Smoke machines - smoke machines will be used during the night, but the smoke does not reach the seating area - There is no designated quiet space in the venue
