About

📣 Join the Business of Art Society for a panel discussion with the Curatorial Leaders at Deutsche Bank, HSBC, and Morgan Stanley, on Wednesday the 27th of March at 6PM in LT1! *  From Curating Corporate Collections to Shaping the Market, How Financial Institutions Play a Role in the Art sector: A Panel Discussion with the Heads of Art at Deutsche Bank, HSBC, and Morgan Stanley. *  We are honoured to host a panel discussion with the curatorial leaders at HSBC, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley, led by Laura Sovilla, event coordinator and MA student.  A bit about our panellists: Eleanor Palfrey is the UK Art Curator at Deutsche Bank. She studied History of Art at the University of Leeds, before gaining valuable experience at various prestigious institutions, such as the Tate and Bonhams. Deutsche Bank’s London Art collection concentrates on works on paper and photography by international artists, while also featuring important works by major Post-war and Contemporary names. Deutsche Bank is also an important sponsor of major Art events. Daniel Lancaster is the Global Art Manager at HSBC, where he has been for over 15 years. He studied Business Administration and Management at De Montfort University, and embarked on a curating career though mentorship and working with curators. The HSBC art collection traces its roots back to 1923 and includes works ranging from British artist L.S. Lowry to Brazilian artist Lucia Laguna, as well as featuring some of the brightest new talents. Mackenzie Constantinou is the Global Art Curatorial Team Director at Morgan Stanley. She studied History of Art at the University of California, before engaging in an inspiring career in the art industry, working at Bonhams and Artsy among other institutions. Morgan Stanley’s collection showcases emerging and local artists alongside more established names. The collection reflects the company's global presence with works from artists around the world. HSBC, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley Art Collections champion diversity and express a commitment to supporting and collecting cutting-edge, international artists that reflect each bank’s core values and talent pool. * The talk will be followed by drinks and a networking session. 🥂 Register (free) with the LINK IN BIO !
