Oxford Trans+ Pride PANELS

Oxford Trans+ Pride will begin in Lincoln College in Oxford’s City Centre at 2 pm on Tuesday, May 30th. First, two panels of trans, nonbinary, gender non-conforming, and intersex speakers will be held. The first panel will be titled “Between Free Speech and Hate Speech” and will discuss ways to preserve academic freedom without promoting or validating dangerous and hateful speech, which can harm marginalised groups. The second panel will be “Trans+ Joy Across Generations” and will feature trans, nonbinary, gender non-conforming and intersex people of various ages who will speak about what trans+ joy means for them.
