Oxford Brookes Tennis Club Christmas Dinner

Hey everyone, We are so excited to welcome you to the OBUTC Christmas Ball 2023! This is strictly a BLACK TIE EVENT! You will not be let in, if not in correct attire! 

This event is located at The Isis River Farmhouse, exact postcode is labelled on the FIXR event. Please take care when travelling to and from the event Taxis could be recommended to get there and back and then there is no parking, so try get dropped off as close as possible and then it’s a short walk, You also may want taxis back too, or it’s about a 30 minute walk back to baron for our next stop which isn’t too bad! Although it may be quite cold ! The event will be begin at 18:00 and go through till 11:30pm We will then be heading to Baron afterwards for some drinks and a boogie 🕺 💃 🪩 It is a three-course Christmas banquet including a set of Canapés A welcome drink of Prosecco or mulled wine And there will be mulled wine served after the meal as well! We will also have some wine on all the tables, If you want specific cocktails, extra wine, beers, whatever you want! you will be able to buy these from any of the bars there. Once everyone’s arrived we will do a small speech just to explain what’s going to happen! We will be doing different awards for the semester so make you listen out to watch these, There’s also gonna be a Charity Raffle It’s going to be £1 a ticket or £2 for 3 tickets or £5 for 10 tickets All the money raised from this will be donated to: GIVE IT Y🎾UR MAX WHICH IS A UK CHILDREN'S CHARITY WORKING TO ENHANCE THE LIVES OF DISADVANTAGED AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN AGED 4-18 THROUGH THE GAME OF TENNIS Link if you’re interested in checking it out ! https://giveityourmax.org 2 people will be scanning you in and giving you a wristband, this is there so the security know who’s meant to be there and no one has come who’s not meant to! These 2 people will also be walking around or at a table selling tickets for the charity raffle, it would be amazing and exciting if everyone got involved, there’s gonna be fleeces, 1/4 Zips, Fishies Stash, OBUTC stash as well as some random Christmas gifts up for grabs so if everyone bought a ticket and got involved that would amazing ! We also have cashed out a fortune to get a PHOTO BOOTH! Which will print the physical prints as well as sending them to us digitally which we will share the link for up to a week later! PS - in regards to seating plan, we do not know the structure of the tables in the room and so we cannot create this, so if there’s a specific person you want to sit with or anything like that, ensure you get there on time to make sure you can reserve a seat!
