To celebrate the final weeks of the Mischief in the Archives display come and discover the transformative potential of family research in the archives with curator Peter Brathwaite. Take a guided tour of the Mischief in the Archives display with curator Peter Brathwaite and hear the personal stories behind his family history research. Learn about conducting Caribbean and African family history research using the Bodleian's rich archival collections. Participate in a hands-on activity to print your own Mischief in the Archives keepsake. This event is part of the We Are Our History project, shining a light on diverse histories and empowering individuals to reclaim their narratives. From 2 – 3pm join Peter Brathwaite in Conversation as he offers a behind-the-scenes look into his research process. Discover how he surfaced the stories of his ancestors, who lived amid the grim realities of 18th-century slavery in Barbados.
