LUU Musical Theatre Society Presents: SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD (Sat eve)

'Songs for a New World is a beautiful exploration into the turning points in peoples lives. Through 4 actors and 16 different characters, we are transported from the deck of a Spanish sailing ship in 1492, to the top of a 57 story apartment to the table of a worried mother, sewing a flag for her son's retur form the Revolutionary War in 1775. The show is a song cycle, focussing less on one overarching storyline and more on key moments in the characters lives. Though these storylines seem all over the place, they are all connected by one unifying factor- that though these transitions and turning points may seem scary, it will all be alright in the end Doors open at 19:00 Show starts at 19:30
