▬ Who are we? ▬ Travel Bear is a student-founded and student-led organisation that puts together awesome weekend trips from London. Our goal is simple: to take students and young professionals to explore stunning sites, palaces and landscapes all over the UK and beyond. Do it for the location. Do it for the memories. Do it for the new friends you are about to make and experiences. ▬ Where are we travelling to? ▬ IRELAND Travel Advisory 1. Unlike every other Travel Bear trip, this trip requires that you make your own flight arrangements from London to Dublin on the 15th of December 2023. 2. Once we pick you up from Dublin Airport, we will look after you for the duration of the trip (as detailed below). 3. On the morning of the 17th of December 2023, after checkout from our hostel, you are again responsible for your return flight whether back to the UK or otherwise to enjoy the rest of your winter holidays. 4. It is entirely your responsibility to ensure that you have the requisite entry documents for the Republic of Ireland such as a valid passport and/or visa. Welcome to three days of fun, exploring the one and only Emerald Isles. Ireland, like its people, is a welcoming enclave of history, tradition and remarkable sights that have been written and sung about for centuries and continue to this day. This trip begins with your arrival at Dublin Airport where Travel Bear will be on hand to welcome you. You are responsible for booking your own flight tickets, at your own cost, to Dublin. Your flight to Dublin must arrive no later than 12:00PM. From the airport, we head into the city where your guided walking tour begins ending at the world-famous Guinness Storehouse. From the Storehouse, we head to our hostel to complete check-in and settle-in for the evening. An evening stroll for dinner at Temple Inn or anywhere of choice is recommended. On Saturday, we head north over the border into Northern Ireland. Our day begins at the Giants Causeway where scenes from the Game of Thrones were filmed. Then into Belfast city centre for a walking tour of the city followed by a tour of Titanic Belfast where you will get a tour of the original site where the Titanic was built. An amazing and encompassing experience. Following the tour of Belfast, we head back to Dublin for another evening in the city where, again, you get free time to explore the city’s nightlife. Sunday, checkout at 10 and you leave (or remain in) Dublin at your own cost and convenience. ★ Date .............................................. 15-17 December ★ Meeting Point ………………………… Dublin Airport ★ Meeting Time …………………………. No later than 12:00PM ▬ How much does it cost? ▬ £199 (excluding your flights to & from Dublin) ▬ What is included? ▬ ✓ Private coach hire throughout your stay in Ireland ✓ Accommodation (both nights) ✓ Guided tour of Dublin ✓ Entry and Tour of Guinness Storehouse ✓ Visit the Giants Causeway ✓ Guided tour of Belfast ✓ Visit the Titanic Experience Belfast ✓ Free time in Dublin. ▬ Explain accommodation on this tour ▬ We will stay in a multi-roomed hostel in Dublin city centre. The rooms will be allocated on a strictly gender basis meaning no male student will be allowed to room with a female and vice-versa. ▬ What about food? ▬ We cannot yet confirm whether or not your host can provide breakfast. At the moment, we assume they are unable to but will confirm later at no extra cost to you. ▬ Can I get a refund once I have bought a ticket? ▬ No. All tickets, once purchased, are non-refundable. You may sell-on your ticket to anyone older than 18 but you must let us know, in writing, NO LESS THAN 24HRS BEFORE DEPARTURE. As stated, our accommodation policy is to separate rooms by gender. Therefore, if you sell-on your ticket to someone of a different gender without informing us and/or with less than 24hrs notice, we reserve the right to deny that person access on the tour. ▬ Please find the other Terms & Conditions here: www.travelbear.org
