Have Your Say Discussions Your feedback is valuable in helping us understand and improve the experience of international students at the University. By sharing your experiences, you will enhance the international student experience at our university as we will be able to instigate changed based on your feedback. All these discussions are being held on Wednesday 7 February 2024 in The Greenhouse, Devonshire House, Streatham Campus. If you are not able to attend in person there is an option for you to attend online so that all our students can have their say no matter the campus you are on. Sign up to join our discussions, and tell us about your experiences as part of our global community. Sessions last 50 minutes, and we’ll provide refreshments. For each themed discussion you attend and give feedback, you’ll be given a £20 shopping voucher for your time. To ensure we provide opportunities for as many students to participate as possible we are limiting attendance to 2 workshops otherwise your booking will be rejected. PLEASE NOTE- the prize draw is only open to International students at the University of Exeter and INTO University of Exeter. Please book using your University email address otherwise your booking will be rejected. Vouchers will be only be issued if you attend the workshop. Here are the list of Workshops available: -10:30AM -11:20AM workshop: Welcome, Inclusion and Belonging In this workshop we will be discussing the following theme: Welcome, Inclusion and Belonging- Do you feel welcomed and a part of our university community? Discussing how we create an environment that makes you feel included and celebrates the diversity of our students. -11:30AM -12:20PM workshop: Student Voice- listening to and acting on your views In this workshop we will be discussing the following theme: Student Voice - listening to and acting on your views. Do you feel listened to and heard? Discussing how we enable our students to have a say in university decisions that impact you. -12:30PM - 13:20PM workshop: Our approach to Sustainability In this workshop we will be discussing the following theme: Our approach to Sustainability- Does the university allow you to participate in activities to develop responses and solutions to climate change? How could we ensure students are involved if they want to be? -14:00PM - 14:50PM workshop: Accessing our services In this workshop we will be discussing the following theme: Accessing our services- How easy is it to find and access the support services that you need? Discussing your experiences of using our university services, from academic support to food and drink on our campuses, and how we can make it better. -15:00PM - 15:50PM workshop: How we deliver the right, high-quality advice and support that you need. In this workshop we will be discussing the following theme: How do we deliver the right, high-quality advice and support that you need, such as advice on visas and immigration, settling in the UK, and supporting your academic skills, welfare and wellbeing, and career development.
