God Dropped Acid is a night of psychedelic dance music: starting with psychill, through psydub, psybreaks, psytech and acid techno all the way to progressive, goa, full-on, dark, forest and hi-tech psytrance. ∆<><>∆<><>∆<><>∆<><>∆<><>∆<><>∆ Taking place at the 2648 Bar in central Cambridge, God Dropped Acid is the brainchild of two psytrance DJs and producers (NIXIRO and Speedy Human Music). Our live acts and DJs on the night: - Michael Joyce: Michael Joyce is a UK based music producer who likes to dabble in many styles. For the last decade he has been honing his craft on the boutique festival circuit with regular appearances at Deevstock and Orange Cormorant festivals where he captivates crowds with his live electronic performances. Michael’s music is filled with melancholic, tortured synths as well as soaring sustained electric guitar tones all layered over punchy, driving drums. - Nixiro is a Cambridge-based psytrance DJ and producer who has released killer tracks on Sol Music, Geomagnetic, Sting Records, Parabola Records and Goa Records.
