The DNB FRIDAY Freshers Rave: This is a heavy weight line up for a Freshers Friday one off night. The night will be at The O2 academy, situated on the Cowley Rd a Warehouse venue. LINE UP 🔈 BLADERUNNER 🔈 KARA 🔈 JAMES HIRAETH 🔈CARDINAL SOUND 🔈HAKZ 🔈 LORD & MAX WALKER 🔈ALEX MAMUDA We advise you get your ticket before it sells out. --------------- 🔈 BLADERUNNER Devan Gray, AKA Bladerunner, based in the East of England, is one of the most highly respected Drum & Bass artists of this era. His talents were spotted back in 2004 by the legendary Ray Keith ,he was signed to Dread Recordings and remixed jungle classics 'Renegade Terrorist', 'The Chopper' and 'Dark Soldier'. His debut album Analog Bass was released in 2009 which lead to further remix duties on tracks such as 'The Lighter' for DJ SS on Formation Records and 'Sound Control' by Randall and Andy C. Since then this DJ/Producer has more than paid back Ray for his support with numerous modern day anthems, the latest being 'Feel for You' and 'Spartan Law' which appeared on Andy C's hugely popular mix CD 'Nightlife 5'. Bladerunner's new school, forward thinking take on the classic jungle sound has won him legions of fans from heads to producers alike with tracks such as 'Love is Gone' on Philly Blunt, Feel For You and his rework of Marvellous Cain's 'The Hitman' Bladerunner has been tearing up dance floors globally for over twelve years now and he showcases many of his original compositions and exclusive remixes with consistently heavy beats and punishing basslines. As well as regular airplay on BBC Radio 1, and appearances on 1Xtra and D&B Arena TV, Bladerunner has also featured in ATM Magazine with a cover mix CD. Hits such as 'Snake Fist' on Fabio's Creative Source and 'Back to the Jungle' on Critical Records topped the BBC Radio 1 Drum & Bass charts and still tear dancefloors apart the world over whilst more recently Bladerunner has signed’ Old Times’ for his second release on Ram Records sister label Program. Support for Bladerunner tracks comes from all the A-list DJ's on the scene including Andy C, Friction, Ray Keith, Fabio, DJ SS, Bailey, Bryan G, Randall and more. 🔈 KARA There aren’t many young DJs in drum and bass who have been making as much noise as Kara has in recent years. While still in her twenties, Kara has become one of the most booked young artists in the scene, bringing her signature energy behind the decks to festivals including Hospitality on The Beach, Rampage Renegade and Westfest, and countries as far as New Zealand. But the Beaconsfield-based artist is only just getting started. While DJing is the way Kara’s name has gained momentum over recent years, building a reputation as a producer is the next chapter. With early releases to her name including a remix of DJ Phantasy & Doktor’s “Junglist” (with one million streams on Spotify), and an ID-demanding bootleg of Biscits’ “Your Body” the early signs are looking bright for this young talent. Don’t be fooled by Kara’s small discography though. This artist has been working on her production since before her DJ career kicked off. 🔈 JAMES HIRAETH James Hiraeth is a Producer & DJ from Wales, He started making house music when he was 12 years old and has switched genre and styles over the years of producing. James released his debut EP 'Do You Feel It' on DNB Allstars's RAW imprint in 2021 and has continued to release countless Remixes & Bootlegs, amassing over 5 Million Streams on Soundcloud alone in 2022 so far. He is most popularly known for his former bo otleg of 'Baby Girl' By Disco Lines - Which is now released as an Official Remix via Arista Recordings & Ministry of Sound, Recently signing to Insanity Records (Sony Music UK) on his single ‘Chasing Highs (Slow Motion)’.
