Join us for a free and relaxed workshop led by Buddhist Chaplain and artist John Danvers. The workshop will develop mindfulness and creativity through various modes of drawing. We will explore different ways of making drawings using simple materials. Chance, repetition and observation will be used as meditative processes to develop concentration, peace of mind and enjoyment. The workshop will begin with a brief introduction to mindful meditation and creativity, followed by a short guided meditation – and will end with a short silent meditation. No previous drawing experience necessary and all materials are provided- grab a ticket and come along! This event is supported by the Exeter Alumni Fund.
