About Anairda
Anairda is a Latin American multidisciplinary artist and activist resident in Plymouth. She has been involved in the grassroots climate movement for more than 10 years and collaborated with animal and human rights organisation. Anairda (Adriana M.Córdova) was born in Ecuador, in a family who loves music and engages with politics. She has written poetry and composing songs since her adolescence. After three years in the university, she left her studies of Social Communication, to dedicate herself to the arts. She is the founder and ongoing producer of the Feminist Fusion project and performs her political music regularly. Link to page
About this talk
In this talk and creative discussion, Anairda will share her journey with the arts, feminism and the climate movement leading her to search new forms of activism that incorporate the depatriarchalisation and decolonisation of our practices.
This talk and discussion will be hosted in the Lemon Grove Main Room, which is on Streatham Campus in Cornwall House, St Germans Road, EX4 6TG.
