About

University of Exeter Women’s Hockey Club Code of Conduct In playing for the University of Exeter Ladies Hockey Club it is a requirement to read, understand, acknowledge and sign the Code of Conduct. This has been instigated to ensure that each member understands the expectations we as a club have of the members, to ensure we continue to produce the highest level of on-field performance whilst maintaining the highest off-field standards. Club Values: • Respect – respect for teammates, officials, the general public and the university. • Integrity – to act with integrity in all respects when representing the Club. • Mode for excellence – to strive for excellence in every endeavour. • Determination – to always play with and show the utmost determination when representing the club. • Influence – to have a positive influence on the club and the wider community. • Responsibility – to act with responsibility and personal accountability when representing the club. Code of conduct: - To uphold the values of the University of Exeter Ladies Hockey Club when undertaking any endeavour on or off pitch, where you are representing the University of Exeter Ladies Hockey Club. - To turn up to all training sessions 15 minutes early. - To inform your team captain or coach at the soonest possible moment if you cannot train or play. - To act with respect, and kindness to everyone when representing the club at any social event. - To treat all property with respect, especially when at a social event. - To have responsibility for your own actions, especially when at a social event. We will be operating a THREE STRIKES POLICY regarding unexplained absences at training. We hope you understand that your position in the club is very sought after and a lack of commitment is not fair on the players that we have had to turn away from the club. The club will not take any responsibility, monetary or otherwise for activities that are not organised and given full consent by members of the core committee which breach these laws. Non-compliant behaviours are therefore undertaken at your own risk. If you are deemed to not uphold this code of conduct, the core committee in line with University of Exeter Athletic Union reserve the right to enforce: - Fitness punishments (severity of which advised by the Performance Director). - A temporary or permanent ban from socials. - A temporary or permanent ban from playing and training. - A revocation of membership to the University of Exeter Ladies Hockey Club without refund of subs.
