EUCC Goes to The Brecon Beacons 2024

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Roadies take on Brecon 2024 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 We are pleased to once again invite EUCC members to the Brecon Beacons for 4 days and 3 nights away from Sunday 2nd of June to Wednesday 5th. We have secured the ever reliable 19-bed bunkhouse near “Ystradfelite” which I’ll leave you to attempt to pronounce. With exams nearing an end, nearby waterfalls to explore, and miles of smooth tarmac and outstanding views, what is not to like? We will be setting out for (at least) 3 rides in 2/3 groups of varying distances/difficulty ensuring everyone has a group they feel comfortable with. We’ll tackle some top 100 climbs, enjoy the scenic descents, and hobble around the streets of small Welsh towns to get our hands on some ride fuel. As we’re going in June, we expect some decent weather to make what will hopefully be a memorable trip once more. We will leave the morning of Sunday 2nd (exact time TBC closer to the day) and return in the afternoon of Wednesday 5th (ensuring AU dinner attendees have time to get ready). Once all groups are back, we’ll make sure everyone has had the chance to shower, crack open a cold one, make some dinner, play a game of cage or two, scroll on reels and then hit the hay for the next day ahead.
