– 47 Eddington Avenue CB3 1SE (In the Courtyard) Cambridge's Home of Outdoor Cinema Enchanted Cinema presents Bohemian Rhapsody Doors open 19.45PM - 20.45PM Freddie Mercury -- the lead singer of Queen -- defies stereotypes and convention to become one of history's most beloved entertainers. The band's revolutionary sound and popular songs lead to Queen's meteoric rise in the 1970s. After leaving the group to pursue a solo career, Mercury reunites with Queen for the benefit concert Live Aid -- resulting in one of the greatest performances in rock 'n' roll history. Enchanted Cinema is back for its 7th year of inner-city cinematic magic. They return this year to one of their favourite venues, The Courtyard, a hidden Green Oasis based in the centre of Turing Locke, with Locke Hotels and Hyatt Centric, in Eddington. We are all about creating an original and vibrant cinema scene that offers an exciting way to watch a great film. Expect to be wowed by a short film before each screening, light installations and live music from local artists. The area will open to guests an hour and a half before the screening, for customers to get choose their deckchairs (first come first served) and we will be getting ready for the live music performance from local artists. Serving up popcorn, cutting brownies and getting hot water bottles at the ready. We will always have hot food offerings from either the venue we are at or a local food vendor that will be pre-advertised on our social media pages. Hot water bottles and blankets are available to hire at these events but we also encourage customers to wrap up and bring appropriate warmth if needed. We are after all an outdoor event in England and a rain-or-shine one at that. Unless we are worried about the weather and its potential dangers, we shall go ahead, a little drizzly never hurt anyone but if it goes against our risk assessment we shall reschedule, cancel or refund the event.
