FAQS
What date is Dirty Dancer running from?
The first performance of Dirty Dancer is on April 7th, 2023.
When is Dirty Dancer running until?
Our last Dirty Dancer show will be August 26th, 2023. You can book Dirty Dancer tickets up until this date. But we suggest buying in advance, because tickets to our shows sell faster than you can say Catskill Mountains!
Where is the Dirty Dancing show held?
Dirty Dancer is located at our Proud Embankment venue in London's West End, at 8 Victoria Embankment, London WC2R 2AB
How can I get to Proud Embankment?
If you’re coming into Paddington Station, our Embankment venue is very easy to travel to. From Paddington, hop onto the Circle Line tube. Ride 11 stops to Temple Station, walk for 3 minutes, and hey presto - you’re there! For more information please see our contact us page.
What is the dress code?
As always, our dress code is dress to impress. So please wear your finest attire! This means dress shoes, heels, fancy dresses or skirts, suits and/or suit jackets and blazers. Trainers, flip flops, shorts, bikini tops and scruffy jeans are unacceptable. Please note that if you come to the venue wearing any of these articles of clothing, you may be turned away at the door.
When should I arrive at the venue before the show?
We would recommend arriving at our Embankment venue 30 minutes before the doors open. This will give you and your group lots of time to locate your tickets and get them ready to show at the door. For example, if Dirty Dancing started at 19:00 pm., we recommend you arrive at the venue 18:30 pm GMT.
Are there any age restrictions?
Yes - all of our shows have age restrictions in place. As Dirty Dancing includes partial nudity and the story line addresses some adult themes such as the topic of abortion, the age requirement for entry remains 18 years old and over. Children under the age of 18 will be turned away at the door. So please, leave your children at home and enjoy a well-deserved, child-free night off at Proud Embankment!
Which songs can I expect to hear?
Fans can expect both songs from the original motion picture and an abundance of all your favourite hit tracks from the 1980's to add a fresh spin on the classic story. Get ready to jive to "Time of My Life", "Do You Love Me", "Hungry Eyes" and "Hey Baby" like there's no tomorrow. Plus we've got a bunch of hits from the 1980's in the mix. Trust us: it'll be impossible to sit still on this great night!
What if I have dietary requirements?
Don’t worry about that! Our menu is incredibly inclusive and has dairy free, gluten free and vegan options available. All information about allergens contained in our food is visible on the menu, too. But if you have any specific questions about the cuisine we offer, feel free to get in touch at customersupport@proud.co.uk to discuss any queries you may have.
Who is in the Dirty Dancer Cast?
Our wildly talented ensemble cast see Lilleet Marshall playing the role of Baby, and Kevin Jack playing the role of Johnny Castle.
