About

The Courtauld Students’ Union is honoured to announce the first in a series of “In Conversation” lectures marking the departure of Deborah Swallow as Director of The Courtauld. As a farewell gesture to the student body, the SU has coordinated a series of discussions with Deborah Swallow and leading figures in the arts and culture industry she has encountered across her two decades at The Courtauld. The talks will address themes relating to the development of artistic practice, academia and the museum/gallery world over the past twenty years - distilled through each guest’s individual lens. The first talk will feature Frances Morris (CBE), Tate Modern Director. It will take place at 6PM on Wednesday 8th March in The Leon Kossof Learning Centre, The Courtauld, Somerset House North Block. The talk will be followed by drinks in the Institute reception. Due to this event taking place in Somerset House, space is limited. Tickets are free and open to all students, and will go live on Thursday 2nd March at 12PM. This event is step-free & wheelchair accessible. Please get in contact with the SU about your accessibility requirements at [email protected]
