Debate: Animal Rights and Welfare

You are welcome to our first ever debating event! This hour-long event will be composed of 10 minute-long debates, giving each participant 5 minutes to argue their side. Open to all students, the debates will include the following: - are zoos unethical? - the use of animals for scientific research: to continue or to end? - should animal slaughter be prohibited? - should we all go vegan? With free pizza, and a prize for the best debater, you're almost guaranteed to have fun on the 21/11/23, 5-6pm in the SU Drawing Room! Entrance fee: £3
