Creative Industry Night

The Old Firehouse Exeter

About

A monthly creative meet up/networking opportunity to meet likeminded creative people, forge connections, explore opportunities for collaboration, or just hang out and make friends over a drink and nibbles. This is an opportunity to hear from someone working in the industry (from a different creative discipline every month) about their journey and top tips. Our first guest: Charlie Cornforth - Charlie is a freelance theatre and movement facilitator who specialises in acting, movement, live art, stage combat and the subject of unhealthy masculinities. They are engaged across the city of Plymouth in roles such as the Community Movement Practitioner for Exim Dance Company and the Lead Practitioner for Barbican Theatre. Last year, they set up Crumbling Rocks Theatre, an organisation designed to provide education and workshops on the subject of unhealthy masculinities with the intention of helping improve the mental health and general well-being of boys and men. This is a FREE event. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected] Your ticket will be scanned on entry so please make sure you have it. Photographs will be taken at this event.
