A Bring your own booze comedy show at Arthur’s cafe in Wimbledon Park, a popular cafe for locals in Wimbledon Park. We bring to you a wide range of comedians from all walks of life, aiming to give you an unforgettable and funny evening. It is just a five minute walk from Wimbledon Park station. Our shows are every Wednesday, our line up for this evening is: Chris Cray Chris is a comedian, charming audiences with his autobiographical routines about being nerdy, married and a redhead. Chris has performed in venues including Angel Comedy Club, The Comedy Store, Big Belly and Backyard Comedy Club. Chris has had his animated comedy sketches featured on the BBC. Tim Shishodia Tim has that rare gift,which he exploits with a lively, unpredictable delivery and deliciously daft punchlines. John Sharp The most unique, absurd veteran on the London comedy scene, who has been doing comedy for over 20 years. Serena Smart After briefly dipping her toe into the student comedy scene in 2019 while at Durham Uni, Serena took a hiatus from comedy during Covid and only started gigging again in late 2021. Since then, Serena has thrown herself into the London comedy scene, beating the gong at Up The Creek and Vauxhall Comedy Club, winning 2 tiny plastic gold trophies at the Cavendish Arms and making it to the finals of the Comedy Virgin’s New Act competition in the Summer of 2022. You can also purchase a meal and comedy ticket for £12, where you can get a burger and chips, sausage and chips or Chicken Katsu curry.Please be advised the only food or drink that isn’t consumed and brought from the cafe that can be brought in are alcoholic beverages, where there will be a corkage fee. Corkage fee is £5 for four beer cans or a bottle of wine.
