About

Whether you consider yourself a Black Student or an Ally, you're invited to this roundtable discussion on the topic "What can I do to change the narrative?" and what we can do beyond Black History Month itself. We want to change the pervasive attitude that it's permissible for Black people to be disadvantaged. It is not ok that Black people are systematically and routinely excluded, forgotten, and ignored. So come with ideas or view, or come to listen. We're going to work together to see what we - as a community - can do. This is part of our Black History Month 2023 programme. We want to empower our Black Students to EXIST LOUDLY all year round! If you have any questions about this event, please contact [email protected]. There is wheelchair access. There is basic seating, an accessible toilet, a gender neutral toilet, general car parking, and blue badge parking. There isn't a hearing loop, a BSL interpreter, or a designated quiet space.
