A bitesize edition of Active Bystander training, this workshop will give you the chance to learn more about what an active bystander is, and how to become one! Content/Sensitivity warning: This session covers gendered, sexual and racist harms and the importance of intervening to prevent/reduce these harms. At the beginning of the session the trainer will provide guidance for if you would like to step out at any time. This session will cover: -The definition of a bystander -Intervention - what it is, what impact it has and when sometimes you might not intervene -How to intervene early and safely -Contributing positively when wrongdoings are happening -Example scenarios Please arrive at the beginning of this event to avoid disruptions. The number of tickets available for this event is 25. The venue is wheelchair accessible, has access to basic seating and an accessible toilet in the nearest building. There is car parking available next to the venue, including blue badge parking.
