Art Law x Constantine Cannon Lecture II : Galleries and Dealerships

This lecture will introduce us to the various legal issues which may arise for those who work in, or run, galleries or dealerships. Among other things, Emelyne and Johanna will look at the agency relationship and it’s duties, primary vs. secondary market and the different structures of sales, including buying stock to resell, back-to-back sales, and selling as agent on consignment. They will also delve into issues of due diligence, including anti-money laundering obligations.
