NEW VENUE - Apex HiFi meets the jungle cat Shere Khan outta London, bringing roots and dubwise vibes. Shere Khan Sound System establishing as a sound & record label in 2021, since then releasing some incredible music and playing many dances around the country, including regularly in Walthamstow's 'roots in the corner' dances. Known for playing deep roots and steppas dubs with many dubplates from various uk and beyond dub producers stables. Lyle being part of Channel One sound for many years, as he says learning the trade from Mikey and Trevor. He's joined by Ras Terry Gad, another Channel One crew member who was part of Jah Trinity from Gloucester in the 80's with his brother Milton (Earthshaker sound in Aus now!), playing in dances with Jah Shaka, Jah Tubby's and many more over the years. Ras Terry Gad known for bringing vibes, order and Ises. Them playing on Apex HiFi, built in collaboration with Calum Audio back when he was FTF (from the forest), using a Sage 5way, theremin, music selection & live vocals known to incite reality, connect the community, raise compassion, question colonial mind-states and form a vibe that allows all to be free to dance as they feel.
