ABT 2023 Beach Tennis Challenger Series - 1 (IFBT World Ranking Event)

The first stage in the new 2023 ABT Beach Tennis Challenger Series and the very first IFBT World Ranking Beach Tennis Tournament to take place in the UK. The venue is Loxford Park in North East London and as it's an IFBT event entrants will be playing for world ranking points. To enter you must have a valid IFBT IP Code. These cost €10/year and can be obtained by heading to the IFBT website https://www.ifbt.eu/players-zone/ Confirmed Categories: • Men's Doubles Advanced (SATURDAY 29TH) • Men's Doubles Intermediate (SATURDAY 29TH) • Women's Doubles Advanced (SATURDAY 29TH) • Women's Doubles Intermediate (SATURDAY 29TH) • Mixed Doubles Advanced (SUNDAY 30TH) • Mixed Doubles Intermediate (SUNDAY 30TH) In addition to the above, we may be adding further categories (Singles) or widening the draw numbers depending on entries to the initial categories for additional play on Sunday. To enter: Name, email address, mobile phone and IFBT IP Code required for all entrants. Tournament Format Round Robin, followed by Quarter Finals, Semi-Finals and Final • All matches are 1 set • First to 6 games by 2 clear games • A tie break at 6-6 • Tie breaks are first to 7 points by 2 clear points Additional Information We are also working on an official tournament hotel, which will offer a discount to entrants who are keen to play on both dates and a beach party on Saturday night.
