Yellow Arch Studios

About

Sheffield’s iconic nightclub (The Limit) rears its head for the first time in 2018 This famous tiny subterranean club was pivotal to Sheffield's golden epoch of electronica (1979-1984) and hosted a multitude of live events during its thirteen year reign from 1978 to 1991 in Sheffield, featuring many live performances from local heroes Def Leppard, Caberet Voltaire, Human League and Pulp as well as guests such as OMD, Madness, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Echo & the Bunnymen, B 52’s, The Cure, Ultravox and UB40 Once again, under duress, the original DJ Paul Unwin will take to the decks on the 23rd June 2018 at Yellow Arch Studio between 21:00pm & 02:00am playing some of the classic tracks from this era, while wishing to be playing music from the current period. A great time to meet up with old friends for a beer! This year we are raising money for the National Community Boats Association (NCBA). They are a registered charity that aims to support community boating organisations. The NCBA vision is a network of well resourced, well managed community boating organisations that promote access to UK waterways as well as promoting the safe use of community boats as a resource available for the benefit of disadvantaged and excluded groups in ways that promote social cohesion, protect the environment and support economic regeneration.
