**SYNOPSIS** * This meetup is a chance for 2018 UK iGEM teams to meet and to gain invaluable skills and expertise for their projects **IMPORTANT** *Registration deadline: 2nd July 2018. 7 sign=ups are available per team until then. After that point, remaining tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis. * The sign-up fee goes towards accommodation which includes both dinner and breakfast * We are very grateful to sponsors for heavily subsidising the sign-up fee: Promega, Bristol BioDesign Institute, SynBio CDT and CyBio **DESCRIPTION** This summer, SynBio UK is organising a UK-wide iGEM meetup at Oxford in partnership with SynBio.Oxford. The event will bring together present iGEM teams from across the UK as well as leading academic and industrial speakers. The meetup will be a chance for teams to discover what others are doing, form collaborations and learn about the meetup theme of success at iGEM through interactive sessions led by iGEM alumni, experts in entrepreneurship and human practices. Students will have the opportunity to present their ideas to each other and learn from the experience of past teams.
