Read more here: https://manchesterstudentsunion.com/redemption Tickets always sell out for the Official Freshers’ Wristband Events, so be sure to get yours as soon as possible! You can purchase a wristband to gain entry for all events. Don’t panic if you haven’t purchased your wristband already, you can purchase them online on FIXR.co or at the ticket redemption points. If you've already purchased your Official Freshers’ Wristband, you're golden! The next step is to redeem your booking for a fabric wristband and a Deansgate Locks T-Shirt at ticket redemption points at select halls of residence and around campus from Thursday 12th September. These locations will be listed can be found here: https://manchesterstudentsunion.com/redemption If you have any problems or enquiries, please email [email protected] Deansgate Locks Sunday 15th September – 9pm-3am An exclusive takeover of some of Manchester’s hottest nightclubs with DJs playing the latest hip-hop, house, and party hits. Free t-shirt provided – just write on your name and course, then let the t-shirt do the talking. Wristband holders should pick up their t-shirt when they collect their wristband. You can pick up your t-shirt at redemption points around campus. Please note, the t-shirt is your ticket! Without your t-shirt, you will not be able to get into the venue. We will provide buses to get you to and from Deansgate Locks as part of your ticket price. Buses will run from Owens Park/Fallowfield, Victoria Park and City Campus/Whitworth Park from 9pm with the last bus leaving for Deansgate Locks at 10:15pm. Glow Up! Tuesday 17th September – 10pm-3am Manchester Academy (M13 9PR) The annual Freshers’ UV night returns with Glow Up! Renowned Manchester DJs will play legendary 80s, 90s and 00s tunes to dance the night away to. UV paint and glow sticks will be available at the venue! If you have the Official Freshers Wristband, your fabric wristband will grant you entry into the venue. We will be handing out skin friendly, easy wash-off UV paint when you arrive. We also encourage you to decorate yourself as you wish before coming to the venue. In The City Thursday 19th September – 10pm-Late Fifth Avenue (M1 7AG) and Factory Manchester (M1 7EN) Get familiar with everyone’s favourite city hotspots, Fifth and Factory. Sing [insert your favourite artist] all night long with different genres in every room and across every floor. If you have the Official Freshers Wristband, your fabric wristband will grant you entry into the venue. You can gain entry to both venues, with free movement between them all night, drinks promos and resident DJs on hand to keep the party going. Fast track entry only until 23:30. Labyrinth Festival Saturday 21st September – 6pm-4am Manchester Academy Venues (M13 9PR) Join us as we welcome you to LABYRINTH, a brand new festival coming to Manchester for 2019! Expect a huge line up along with our maze of warrens, each with their own mix of music & theme. LINE UP: BECKY HILL MISTAJAM CONGO NATTY + MANY MORE! If you have the Official Freshers Wristband, your fabric wristband will grant you entry into the venue. Set times will be announced closer to the event. PLEASE NOTE - Over 18s Only. - Bring a valid form of ID and your Student Card to all events. - There will be no replacements or refunds given for any wristbands or t-shirts, even if they are lost. - Tickets can be transferred via the FIXR website, however, this must be done before redeeming tickets. - You can purchase a wristband to gain entry for all events. - Do not remove or cut off your wristband or it will not grant you entry to the event. - Be sure to arrive at the events before Last Entry Times.
