Modern Calligraphy for Beginners Christmas Workshop & Lunch

Come along and join our Christmas Calligraphy Workshop for beginners! This workshop is perfect for anyone that wants a few of hours fun in a stunning environment learning how to create beautiful handwriting in the traditional style using a nib and ink. The course will start with tips on how to use a traditional nib and ink and general maintenance of your nib. We will then move on to some warm up strokes to teach you the basic formation used to create your letters. After that you will form lower and uppercase letters. We will them move on to writing place settings and christmas cards using a nib and ink and glitter embossing Moving on to personalising your own christmas bauble. You do not need to have neat handwriting or any previous experience to be able to access this course. You will still be able to create your own beautiful masterpieces. We will then finish with lunch provided by our host: La Chaumiere Troinex. *Please note that drinks are not included in this price but are available to buy at the venue.
