Night Tube: Mafalda

To start Night Tube’s 2020 season, we are very excited to welcome Mafalda to Edinburgh! Originally from Portugal, Mafalda brings the sun through her sets of tropical jazz, world music, soul, funk and everything in between. Having moved to London only five years ago, Mafalda has co-founded the reissue label Melodies International with Floating Points, a label devoted to unveiling hidden disco gems from the past such as Tomorrow’s People’s Open Soul and Trio Ternura’s A Gira. From multiple Boiler Room appearances to her radio sets on Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM to being named one of RA's top 5 selectors at last year’s Dekmantel Festival, Mafalda has established herself as a truly special DJ.
