SHAKE WITH ME SCREENING

In connection with the ReelAbilities Film Festival, the Team Fox NYC Young Professionals are pleased to present a screening of: SHAKE WITH ME, along with a silent auction of Debra Magid's select pieces. All proceeds will benefit the Michael J Fox Foundation! __________________________________________________________________________ Art, health, family and the will to cope: Debra Magid is an artist living with Parkinson's Disease. Debra Magid is an artist and designer who was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease (PD) in 2012. In the fall of 2016, Debra agreed to let her son and Team Fox NYC Young Professional, Zack Grant, film her for a documentary to explore the relationship between her art and her condition. While the documentary's narrative thread will be Debra's growth as an artist in the face of PD, this film will tell a deeper story of a tenuous and unique moment in time where Debra's health is stable, her art is thriving, and the future is entirely unknown.
