Exeter University Symphony Orchestra

We are a full-scale symphony orchestra which put on three concerts a year (one each term) and benefit from a professional conductor, Tim Pithers - with his experience and knowledge we are able to play a wide range of music. From Beethoven, Shostakovich and Dvorák to contemporary pieces commissioned for the orchestra, we are always playing exciting repertoire and often employ professional soloists. We perform a concert at the end of every term, and always round off the summer with either a traditional ‘Proms Concert’ or a less traditional "Film Music" concert.
