WEST YORKSHIRE!!! POC QUEERS!!! ATTENTION!!! For many years, Leeds’s DIY scene has hosted many events and parties to celebrate Pride. From Love Muscle’s annual Pumpathon to Wharf Chamber’s outdoor rave, the queer dance community of Leeds always has somewhere to go in the summer. But for some of us, we’ve always had a desire to see ourselves represented more on the dance floor. To dance, laugh, love, eat and drink with our people. People who get it. People who see us not just in our queerness, but our race and culture as well. Taking inspiration from black and queer movements in London, a few local blaq promoters have teamed up with Love Muscle and GBOSA to bring you Leeds’ very own Black Pride 2026. Party all day, party all night, bring your friends, find a lover. This is our time. On the music, we’ve hired a few Leeds local legends plus some Manchester and Sheffield rep!
