Welcome Week Hike - Exeter To Double Locks!

Come one, come all to the first OODS walk of the year! This will be a pleasant stroll along the banks of the River Exe to the Double Locks Pub, where we will be grabbing lunch and maybe a pint! We strongly advise suitable footwear, ideally hiking boots, but for this walk we will also accept trainers or comfortable boots! The walk: 5.5 miles/9km • Length: Easy • Elevation: Easy • Terrain: Easy Timings: Meet committee at the bottom of Forum Hill at 1:30pm. Guidance: Please bring suitable footwear as above. OODS reserves the right to reject attendees wearing unsafe footwear. Weather dependent, please also bring appropriate levels of waterproofs and/or sunscreen! We will be eating at the Double Locks Pub for lunch, so bring a form of payment with you as well as a water bottle.
