Welcome Sanctuary Service

'Sanctuary' is our inclusive, ecumenical, contemplative service for students at the University of Exeter. Inclusive means it is for everyone - we are explicitly mindful of students at all stages of faith and doubt, and aim to be an LGBTQ+ and neurodiversity-friendly community. Ecumenical means we come from a variety of Christian traditions. Our leadership includes the Anglican and Free Church Chaplains. Contemplative means we are a quiet, relaxed service. We sit around the Chapel altar (although if you'd prefer to sit elsewhere you're more than welcome), some of us sit on the floor or do art/craft during the service. We value prayer and gentle discussion as we journey through faith. Sound like your sort of thing? Come along. All students are welcome.
